The Incredible Friendship of Machine Tools and Instagram
A couple years back, we noticed something: Machinists LOVE Instagram. The social platform is known for its curated feeds and gorgeous photography, but it’s also ideal for sharing glimpses of the machine shop life.
When we first launched the @doosanmta Instagram account, we had one simple goal: Publish things that people would actually enjoy coming across. 10,000 followers later, Instagram is officially one of our favorite places to watch end-users Machine Greatness.
If this is the first you’re hearing of @doosanmta, below is what you can expect. We encourage you to follow if you’re interested in machine tools. It’s one of the best follows in the industry.
1. The Specs We Have
We’ve faithfully posted a Spec of the Week for well over a year. Thanks to the comprehensive line of Doosan Machine Tools, we’ll never run out of impressive specs to share. And whatever the number, it’s always a reason to make Doosan your next machine tool purchase.
2. The Way We Work
We love sharing behind-the-scenes looks at our machines and the processes that make them a wise choice for your shop.
3. The Things You Make
Now we’re getting to the good stuff. One of the main reasons we launched the account in the first place was to celebrate the things end-users make with Doosan machines.
@electromechanica_inc and @spiche1: Complicated little aluminum part @spiche1 is making on the #doosanlynx today. He had every position on the turret maxed out for this one. #livetooling and #subspindle are showing their worth as parts come out finished and ready for anodize with no additional handling. Love this #machine!
4. The Pride You Have
This is our favorite thing to see. To all the humans that use our machines, the ones who share pictures of their a new Doosan like it’s Christmas morning, the ones who take selfies with them: You are the reason we get up every day and do what we do.
5. And, Of Course, Dogs
It wouldn’t be Instagram without them.
Have fun diving into the @doosanmta Instagram feed! And remember, if you want us to check out your machine or what you’re making on it, all you have to do is use the hashtags #MachineGreatness or #DoosanShop.
